Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
